2021 IFC Executive Board Applications
Expectations and Requirements
I certify that I have read the General IFC Executive Board Expectations.
General IFC Executive Board Expectations:
Serve as an unbiased Interfraternity man and uphold all IFC bylaws, recruitment rules, and NIC policies and guidelines
Attend all Interfraternity Council Meetings – Mondays at 5pm.
Attend all exec board meetings and one on ones with IFC advisor.
Serve a minimum of one office hour per week in the IFC office.
Provide an officer report of all actions and business related to his respective office at all executive and regular meetings of the Interfraternity Council.
Report must be submitted to the Vice President of Administration for inclusion in the agenda for all regular meetings of the council by midnight the night prior to meeting.
Attend and participate in required university and IFC trainings, retreats, and transition meetings.
Serve as a volunteer during FSL and Interfraternity Council sponsored events.
Maintain and turnover files and an up to date notebook relating to office.
Perform other duties as assigned by the IFC advisor
I certify that I agree to the Qualification and Commitment Agreement.
Qualification and Commitment Agreement:
I support the mission, values and vision of Middle Tennessee State University, MTSU Fraternity and Sorority Life, Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and National Pan-Hellenic Council.
I will attend all IFC council meetings (Mondays at 5 PM), Executive Meetings, Retreat, Conferences and all other IFC and FSL events and activities.
I will complete all officer related expectations.
I agree to attend the following mandatory dates:
Officer Installation - November 16th
IFC Executive Board Work Day - January before school
FSL Leadership Summit (Only for IFC President) - Jan 22nd through 24th
FSL Academy - January 30th
AFLV and/or IFC Academy - February 1st-28th, this will be virtual at your own pace
Serve a term of office that runs December 2020-December 2021
I certify that I meet the application requirements.
Must hold at or above a 2.75 cumulative GPA the semester prior to election/appointment, the semester of election/appointment, and semesters during their term of office.
Be in good standing with my chapter.
Be in good standing with the university.
Must be enrolling in Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 courses.
It is required that Vice President of Communications have qualifications and experience working with computer web design, publication programs and social media platforms.
I certify the Coordinator of FSL to verify that my GPA is at or above a 2.75.
